New Netflix Series Just 10 Episodes of People Deciding What to Watch on Netflix

Described by critics as “painfully realistic,” Netflix announced its newest original series: “What Should We Watch?” The groundbreaking, 10-episode series follows ordinary families and couples as they spend entire evenings scrolling aimlessly through Netflix, paralyzed by the overwhelming options and ultimately watching nothing at all.

“We realized people spend more time choosing a show than actually watching one. So we figured, why fight it? Let’s monetize indecision!”
Cliff Hangerton – Netflix Spokesperson

The series features relatable episodes like “I Don’t Know, What Are You in the Mood For?” and “We Watched That One Already,” climaxing dramatically with the two-part finale, “Fine, Just Put on Stranger Things Again.”

Critics are already calling it “the most accurate depiction of modern relationships since IKEA introduced couples to furniture assembly.” The premiere features a gripping exchange where two characters nearly select a documentary about dolphins before tragically realizing they’ve already read the summary and seen enough.

Early reviews from test audiences have been glowing, with viewers praising the realistic portrayals of passive-aggressive remote passing and exhausted sighs. One viewer stated, “I felt personally attacked by episode three, ‘Maybe We Should Just Go to Bed.’ It was like they were filming my actual life.”

Some skeptics, however, claim the concept is too realistic. “If I wanted to watch two people quietly resent each other over their inability to choose a show, I’d just watch myself,” said local viewer Phil Undeciderson, moments before spending 45 minutes scrolling Netflix without ever pressing play.

Despite criticism, Netflix is already working on a spinoff titled “Are You Still Watching?”, which simply features a black screen with occasional snoring sounds.

When asked if the streaming giant worried audiences might realize they’re essentially watching themselves do nothing, spokesperson Cliff Hangerton confidently replied, “People have been doing that since the invention of mirrors. We’re just giving them a subscription plan for it.”

“What Should We Watch?” premieres this Friday, assuming you can find it buried somewhere in Netflix’s new releases.
